8:00am - Start 
Pick-up from your Queenstown accommodation 

 

9:30am - Hike Diamond Lake & Rocky Mountain  
Arrive at the trailhead and choose your preferred level of adventure. A prearranged packed lunch will be provided to enjoy at your leisure throughout the day: 

  • Diamond Lake & Viewpoint — a scenic and rewarding walk with stunning lake views (approx. 1 hr return, easy–moderate) 

  • Rocky Mountain Summit — a more challenging climb offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Wanaka region (approx. 3–3.5 hrs return, moderate–hard)

12:30pm - Depart Trailhead 
Drive 30 minutes back to central Wanaka  

 
1:30pm - Eco Wanaka | Lake Cruise & Island Walk  
Check in for a scenic lake cruise across Lake Wanaka to the remote island of Mou Waho, followed by a guided walk through remarkable island wilderness (3.5–4 hrs total, 3km walking distance, moderate elevation) 

5:15pm - Depart Wanaka  
Enjoy the return trip back over the scenic Crown Range road to Queenstown  

 

6:00pm - Finish 
Drop off to Queenstown Accommodation
