8:00am - Start 

Pick-up from your Wanaka accommodation 

8:15am - Breakfast in Wanaka  
Start the day with a local buffet breakfast and coffee before heading off on your adventure 

9:15am - Depart for Blue Pools  
A scenic one-hour drive through to the start of the remote ‘Haast Pass’ brings you to Blue Pools car park 

10:15am - Blue Pools Walk  
Explore one of South Westland's hidden gems with an easy bush walk to the stunning Blue Pools (45–60 min return) 

11:15am - Haast Pass Highlights  
Depart Blue Pools with optional short stops at the picturesque Thunder Creek Falls and Fantail Falls 

12:15pm - Lunch at Roaring Billy Falls  
Enjoy your prearranged packed lunch at Roaring Billy Falls before heading to your next adventure 

1:00pm - Haast River Safari | Jet Boat Experience  
Check in for a thrilling one-way jet boat ride along the wild Haast River to Haast Bridge — an experience not to be missed (approx. 1 hour) 

2:30pm - Depart Haast 
A scenic one-hour drive brings you to the rugged and beautiful Bruce Bay 

3:30pm - Bruce Bay Beach Stop  
Take 15 minutes to stretch your legs and take in the coastal scenery  

3:45pm - Depart Bruce Bay for Franz Josef  
Continue your journey with a further one-hour drive through World Heritage rainforest to the Franz Josef Glacier trailhead 

4:45pm - Franz Josef Glacier Walk  
Explore the glacier trailhead on foot and marvel at one of New Zealand's most iconic natural wonders (easy, 1.5km, approx. 45 min return) 

5:45pm - Depart for Franz Josef Township  
A short drive brings you into the village, arriving at your accommodation at approximately 6.00pm
